Planet Mainframe blog post and comment policies

Blog Posts

We want people like you to post on Planet Mainframe. But please remember that Planet Mainframe is a place for serious discussion. It is not a place to peddle products or sell services to readers. While this blog is intended for your potential customers, it is also intended for others doing research. Think of it as a place for you to be seen as a thought leader, as opposed to a sales person. So please, no sales pitches, and no telling the world how wonderful your product is.

Blog Comments

We want people like you to engage here, and to comment on the blog posts that you read here. We do not pre-moderate any comments. And we welcome all kinds of thoughts- supportive, dissenting, critical or otherwise.

We do not delete or censor comments unless they have content that:

–  is disrespectful to bloggers/commenters in any way
–  is blatantly spam
–  contains ad-hominem attacks
–  promotes hate of any kind
–  is self-promoting
–  is off-topic in any way (i.e., politics, religion, etc.)
–  uses foul language

All comments are filtered through spam filtering technology; this technology isn’t perfect and from time to time it flags legitimate comments. If you find that your comment isn’t immediately showing up, it may have been erroneously flagged as spam. Please email us at info(AT)planetmainframe.com to follow up on the status of your comment if it hasn’t shown up after 24 hours, and we will do our best to sort it out.
